This year you won't have to wait any longer! A quarter of a year earlier than usual the time has come: The new MAOCI catalogue 2022/2023 has just arrived from the printing house and is now being sent out to our customers in Germany and throughout Europe. More than 1000 items from the fields of cast iron, porcelain, glass and matcha await you on 232 pages.
The product developers at MAOCI once again did a great job. Altogether the new catalogue contains not less than 150 new products. “We have succeeded again this year in expanding our range with many attractive new items," says the owner Dirk Wiebracht happily. “Now we are curious to see how well we have met the taste of our customers. The first feedback was very promising.”
A conscious decision was made not to wait until autumn to present the current range, but to present it now. "Why wait," says Wiebracht. “Thanks to the great logistical effort, our warehouse is already fully stocked. We can't wait to see our products in the many tea shops and online shops now.”

Hohoho – MAOCI has a true easter surprise for you. This year it will not be late summer when the new product catalogue for 2022/2023 will be available. This year it will be already this month, when you can have a look onto our new items. All product photos are done. Now we just have to put the MAOCI highlights into the best light for the feature shots. Also in 2022 our catalogue will be a visual delight.
You can look forward to 232 pages with more than 1000 items of cast iron, porcelain, glass and Matcha. It includes no fewer than 150 new pieces. Highlights are numerous new teapots, teacups and coasters made of cast iron, which we have of course also put together for you in the popular Basic and Premium sets at a particularly tempting price.

A classic one is back
One of our most popular teapots is now available in two sizes: You can get the teapot Kambin with a capacity of 0.8 and 1.2 liters
A classic one is back. The cast iron teapot Kambin with a capacity of 0.8 liters has been one of the most popular products in our range since a long time. Now MAOCI has the larger version with a volume of 1.2 liters back in stock. The little sister has her big brother back.
The teapot Kambin 12 is available in four colors: black, carmine red, black and gold and furthermore midnight blue and gold. As usual it is enameled inside and equipped with a removable stainless steel sieve. Like all cast iron MAOCI items, this teapot is also made and coloured by hand. Each product is unique and fulfills the highest quality standards.

Caddies with the special glaze
Newly arrived: MAOCI now has Jian style tea caddies in stock. They match perfectly the Jianzhan tea mugs
Ten beautiful tea caddies in traditional Jian style are now available at MAOCI. All oft hem have a volume of 280ml and are completed with a high-quality bamboo lid. In stock are ten decors in different colors.
Jian Ware, also called Chien Ware, are simple shapes of stoneware with a strong emphasis on effects in the glazes. During the Chinese Song dynasty they achieved a high prestige, especially among Buddhist monks, but later on in Japan as well.
The mugs are made by using iron-rich clays and fired at temperatures of 1,300 degrees. The glaze was made using clay similar to that used for forming the body, except fluxed with wood ash. At high temperatures the molten glaze separates to produce the pattern.

The new year is black and red
With the start into 2022 MAOCI reveals a new colour finish. Four teapots are available now in black and red
New year, new opportunities: MAOCI starts into the year 2022 with a brand-new colour finish for cast iron products. The two teapots Arare 09 and Tsuki plus the two new items Akita and Hana are now available in black and red. The colour finish, which is – like for all MAOCI products - done by true handcraft, includes a combination of black colour as base with a red as additional colour. This provides a new and very unique look.
Furthermore you find now the matching mat Denxi and the teacup Arare in the same black and red design. Herewith our tea sets become completed and the tea delight pure happiness.
